Dynamic Duo

This is an assignment for a Character Design class where we had to come up with a design of two characters working as a team. My idea is based off the brains and brawn premiss, consisting of an evil scientist and his giant robot. The idea revolves around the evil scientist names Dr. Leroy Killroy who, in the past, has gained mass renown with countless awards, many being a Nobel Peace Prize. Killroy grows more lonely has his work consumes him and eventually goes over the line on his latest experiment involving human brains and giant metal machines. An explosion happens in the lab, Killroy is instantly labotomized destroying all his good inhabitions and turns evil. His giant robot was forged from old strudebaker autoparts. It's brain came from a test subject Killroy had found running a newspaper ad for an excellent career in science. His name was Ron, a guy that was kicked out of his mom's house for not doing anything at all with his life but in his robot body he is known as Abominatron.
I pictured this idea being very cartoonish where as each episode starts off with a different arch but the plot remains the same. Basically that's Dr. Killroy finding out about something and has to stop it from happening OR come up with something that will overshadow the entire event where the attention diverts to him and he gets fiteen more minutes of fame. He's the main antagonsit to everything else unless there's something to stop him. His robot minion tries to listen to all of his commands but unfortunately is not too bright.
Each episode would end with pathetically failed attempt where Dr. Killroy and Abominatron would start back from square one.

First Blog YAAAAY!

Yes, my very first blog, what can I say other than I'm real stoked? This blog phenom is real new to me but I'll get the hang of it very quickly, not to worry. I have a website www.artiphact.net and I'm managing my art gallery as well as others (although most of the othe guys haven't shown anything yet) all on my own with basic web building knowledge. I pay for hosting 30Gb of space and I have the ability to distribute one thousand artiphact.net email addresses and a virtually unlimited number of domains and sub-domains with planety of niffty web features and tools.

So why am I on a free blog service? It's because of my lack of web building skills is finding it difficult to compete with many of the artsy sites out there. Also, if you haven't clicked on the link already, you'll find that it's rather bland. Then there are these wonderful web pages with dynamic layouts, photo galleries, daily journals/news and more, all set up by a few mouse clicks over a list of options. I thought to myself, why couldn't I just have something like this?

I'm giving blogging a test drive, possibly for about 3 months. I'm keeping my site up too, but if this web page seems to work out much better, i might be letting it go and replace my registered domain to this page. Simple as that, I hope.

Now to kick things off, I am posting sketches virtually no one has ever seen and I shall continue to do as such because the lost "scribbles" is what this blog is all about.

Thanks.
